Who can apply?

All NTR Group businesses are encouraged to apply to the NTR Foundation for matched funding, for mission aligned projects, in their own communities.

What is an NTR Group Project grant?

An NTR Group Project grant is a specific funding stream available only to NTR Group Businesses from the NTR Foundation and which must be matched by the NTR Business itself to at least an equivalent amount.

The purpose of the NTR Group Project grant is for investment in local projects or services that have a positive societal and environmental impact, in the communities of NTR Group Businesses.

The investment will be targeted towards entrepreneurial projects or services that address the challenges of climate change, security of energy supply and resource sustainability.

Why invest?

Investment in such types of projects can have a lasting positive and transformative impact in the local communities.

Where to invest?

It is anticipated that the funding will be utilised in local communities or regions. Each NTR Group Business will select the location for best impact.

When can my business apply?

The NTR Foundation is open for application for NTR Group Projects, from NTR Group Businesses.

All decisions on applications for investment are made in consultation with the NTR Foundation Advisory Board.

NTR Group Businesses will be notified two months in advance of NTR Foundation Advisory Board meetings to allow sufficient time for completion and submission of grant applications.

NTR Group Businesses can also download an NTR Group Project Guidance Note and Application Form from the secure login area. These should be completed in full and be received by the NTR Foundation at least 2 weeks before the date of the next scheduled Advisory Board meeting.

What is the decision-making process?

NTR Group Projects application forms will be presented to the NTR Foundation Advisory Board and a recommendation to invest will be made in consultation with the Advisory Board. NTR Group project investments must be matched to at least an equivalent amount by the NTR Group Business.

All investment decisions are brought to the NTR Foundation Board for ratification.
