International Projects
In terms of the NTR Foundation’s investments in international projects, the Foundation will seek to support existing work already under way. This will either be through strategic partnerships and/ or directly with well-led organisations, which have a strong track record of success. We will invest in a small number (3-4) of multi-annual projects (up to three years), which involve both service provision and thought leadership, by invitation only.
What We Look For
The NTR Foundation will seek to identify organisations that share our vision: i.e. to support entrepreneurial solutions to the challenges posed the issues of climate change, resource sustainability and security of energy supply.
Our Processes
When the NTR Foundation invests in an organisation it is because it firmly believes in their mission, and the NTR Foundation will do all it can to support the organisation in achieving impact.
Venture Philanthropy
In general, project support will be in the form of finance, networks and non-financial support. The Foundation’s funding policy will be to focus investment into a small number of large multi-annual strategic projects, using a venture philanthropy approach, which will support organisations operating in this space.
