The NTR Foundation will look to fund or commission policy and research, specifically when it serves to increase the knowledge base in our core funding areas and/ or where there has been a lack of research or information to date.
Overview
The NTR Foundation will foster and publish independent research, through funding/ commissioning policy and research, which serves to increase the knowledge base in its core funding areas.
This, combined with the evidence base generated from its investments, will enable the NTR Foundation to act as a credible contributor to policy debates.
PLEASE NOTE: The NTR Foundation will not respond to unsolicited applications. Applications for this investment will be by invitation from the NTR Foundation only.

Mary Robinson Foundation - Climate Justice
The NTR Foundation is providing support for the key post within the Mary Robinson Foundation - Climate Justice, (MRFCJ) of Dr Tara Shine, Head of Research and Development. Dr Shine has worked as a technical adviser on environment, development and climate change issues for over 12 years. Much of her work has been carried out in developing countries resulting in an acute understanding of the issues and challenges faced by governments, research organisations and the non-governmental sectors in combating poverty, environmental degradation and climate change.
